Good Morning,

My cousin spec'd me a PC - and was just wondering what everyones opinion is - to me it look's great!

Specs:
Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - Retail

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

HIS ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - OEM (H487F1GP)

OCZ Platinum 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-15000 (1800MHz) Tri-Channel (OCZ3P1800LV6GK)

LG CH08LS10 8x Blu-Ray Reader/16x DVD±RW - Black (Retail)

Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-650TXUK)

Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black (No PSU)

Samsung EcoGreen F2 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HI)

Would anyone ammend anything? or add anything else that at the moment is coming to £800 pounds - trying to stick around that budget.

Thanks

One change I might change is the hard disc to this mainly due to the size and spin speed and I would say higher performing.

But, looks a pretty good spec :)

I would say go for a this gfx card as its higher performing & runs cooler & quieter

I would also agree with RJC & go for this HDD instead & as he said its bigger & faster.

Although cases are a personal choice I would say go for Coolermaster CM-690 Dominator Case as i find the antec 300 to feel quite cheap

And lastly I would strongly suggest buying a cpu cooler such as Noctua NH-u12P or a Prolimatech Megahalems
