Reckon this is a good setup for gaming/VR? I'll be using my GTX 970 (which will be upgraded next year) + 500GB SSD with it :)

Any case changes necessary?

Waiting for quote from Overclockers (Damien) hopefully by tomorrow then will be paying tomorrow if appropriate price

There's a video card in that spec (GTX 950).

The CPU cooler choice is interesting. It's designed for cases with less clearance than the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. So I think you can do better than it for the same price, i.e. a 120/140mm fan cooler. Damo can advise on that if you ask. I ♥ Damo. He's nice to me.

PSU - 750 W is total overkill for a 970 and 970s aren't ideal for SLI and VR, if you were to add a second one. So you can knock it down to a 550W if you like. And if you wanted enough power to handle say something like 2 x 980Ti or 2 x 390 in future (whatever their successors are then), you'd want an 850W, preferably. Or perhaps they won't require that much power, who knows (I reckon GPU makers will continue developing stuff that requires less power to perform, but also make other stuff that will make use of a lot of power, to run even faster).

Can you post the price when you get it? I am looking to buy exactly the same thing.

I also have a GTX 970 and a SSD (250gb). I emailed them earlier today asking if it was possible to build a PC without those parts.
