I have the OcUK Value L2442W - using it with a BFG 8800GT, the following resolutions are available in Nvidia Control Panel/Windows Display Properties:
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1280 x 720
1280 x 800
1440 x 900
1680 x 1050
1920 x 1080
1920 x 1200
In the manual it says this monitor supports the following timings:
vert Freq - horizontal freq
640 x 480 - 59.94 - 31.5
800 x 600 - 60.32 - 37.9
1024 x 768 - 60.00 - 48.4
1280 x 800 - 60.00 - 49.6
1440 x 900 - 60.00 - 55.9
1680 x 1050 - 59.94 - 65.29
1920 x 1200 - 59.88 - 74.55
If I create a custom resolution of 1280 x 1024 in the "Manage custom resolutions" section in the Nvidia Control Panel would I damage the monitor in any way at all?
Thanks
