Just decorating our bedroom and want to replace the bifolds on our built in wardrobe with a set of sliding mirrored doors. Dimensions are 1984mm high by 1531 wide. Couldn't find anything standard in these sizes so I guess it will need to be custom made. Anyone got any recommendations for this? Looking online and B&Q will make a set up for £660 but not sure if these would be any good or not or if there are better places. Anyone got any experience with this sort of thing?

Can't comment on the custom part, but I've always found sliding doors rubbish. They eventually fall off their runner and are a nightmare to get back on - especially if you're getting mirrored ones as they'll be extremely heavy.

+1. Mirrored doors are surprisingly heavy and sliding doors are notoriously pants.

Recipe for a nightmare imo

Find something that roughly fits and then build something around it (box it in/cupboard?)

I fitted Spaceslide in our bedroom and they were fine. The cost difference between standard with framing and custom was a no-brainer. I framed it and used laser cut MDF to face the framing. Worked out at about 1/2 the price of custom size.

The bi folds that are currently in there are a right pain. Bit wobbly themselves with clothes constantly getting caught in them etc so my thoughts were that sliding doors would be a better option. Also gets rid of the incredibly annoying full size floor mirror the missus currently has in there. I'll take a look at the space slide stuff, cheers.
