Custom Thumbnails

If i wanted to create a custom thumbnail for my you tube videos, would it matter if i used a picture from Google images ? or would i have to make my own ?

here is the channel, for some reason so far the videos are of the same game and two of them are monetized and two haven't been, does anyone know why ? also for the thumbnails of the videos can i use pictures from Google images ?
