Custom tweeter mounts

Has anyone here made their own tweeter mounts?

I'm looking to put some in my civic but they didn't come as standard in the car and i'm reluctant to put them in the door card as I don't want to have to cut it and would rather not mount them in the plastics by where the wing mirror is as if they are in the car, it would make wiring them to some crossovers much easier.

Now I have seen this web page and it looks pretty quick and easy but I can't for the life of me find where I can buy the "pvc end caps" unless its amaerican ebay (only place I can really think of is something like screwfix but failed to find them there either).

Has anyone tried anything different, or knows where I can find the "pvc end caps"?

I'd probably try and source some from a car that comes with A pillar tweaters? Would look more OEM.

My google-fu must be weak, I tried searching but was only finding places that sold them in 100's.

I did think single gauge pods but for the price I don't think it's worth it and the 92-95 civics never came with the a pillar option and i'm not sure how else i'd get them on there without cutting the up or using fiberglass (which i have no experience of using)

I'd just go to a scrappy and pick up A pillar trim. Chop them up and keep your ones for when you sell or whatever.
