This any good for £300?

However, I have no idea what 'Whitebox' means? Further spec details mention that an operating system is included but doesn't mention which one. Am I right to assume it may be Linux?

Whitebox means it's custom built, make sure you get a good warranty and that the business will last more than 5 minutes

If it's not a business don't buy it...

I think he means there is no such thing as a T300. Is it a T6300 for example? Judging by the speed I think it probably is.

You also need to find out the speed of the hard drive. The memory seems ok in size. The graphics won't be great for games (I don't think Intel make any good gaming GPU chipsets). The CPU is ok but not stellar. What resolution is the screen?

How much is it? Whether it is a good deal will depend on exactly what you want to use it for and how much it is.

Decided to give it a steer. I've found the following spec on pre order for £499, is a fair bit more than I wanted to pay but seems rude not to given the spec and price! Supposed to be ddr3 memory too!
