Customise Left Hand Navigation on folders

Hey,

If I open a folder, Is there any way to customise what locations appear in the left hand navigation pane in windows 7?

Desktop seems to have disappeared and I would like to remove the libraries link if possible.

Open a window to your desktop, right click on favorites and hit "add current location".

You can remove the libraries themselves, but not the heading. (And why would you want to, libraries are a fantastic addition!)

Thanks, I have left libraries there. They are ok. I do use them I suppose

They are fantastic! I use Libraries a lot. For example I have all the media on my server mapped to various libraries, and it just makes browsing so much easier.

The only downside is some applications still haven't caught up and don't offer the Libraries as an option to navigate through in Open or Save dialogs.
