cut and join mp4

hello chaps
could someone point me in the direction of a decent windows program to cut (and join) mp4 files?
I've been making camera recordings with my drone and want to do some very basic editing -- thanks :cool:

Videoredo is great for basic cutting and works with MP4. For free try AviDemux (don't let the name fool you, it does do MP4) - cutting guide.

I use AVIdemux to join them no idea on splitting though.

It trims fine too.

I think it relies on keyframes though, so might not be the best for precise editing of most videos.

I guess if you need precise editing you might need to reencode the video selection you want.

I use Handbrake on the PC to compress the size first (phone recordings are heavy), and then join them up with AVIdemux. Works pretty well.
