Any up to date good pirate games like Cutthroats as that game was sick many many years ago

It don't seem to be the sort of game that has a management system where buy supply's and troops/ships to build up your fleet.

On cutthroats your could also do land assaults take prisoners stuff like that just finding it hard to find a game like it with that sort game play

I remember this, graphics were dreadful but the gameplay was pretty fun.

Used to hit Nasau (sp?) first every time to get a fair big of stuff to trade with.

Adv game came out recently called Treasure Island by dreamcatcher if that interests you at all.

I loved that game, graphics were awful, but a lot of fun. I never did that well in it though

I had a look at the dreamcatcher one did not look to good i could be wrong.

I did see a game called Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships

Mite give that one a try see what its like.

Sid meiers pirates is the best pirate game going and has been for the last 20+ years

Apart from the obvious Sid Meiers Pirates (as mentioned by the previous poster), have a look at East India Company (with the Pirates expansion) & Tropico: 2 Pirate Cove.

Yes you move the ship with the arrow keys.

Sid Meiers Pirates is very good had it on the Amiga. Also downloaded it from steam, still holds its own.
