Hi, I recently been on a big bulk for the last 8 months. I'm a lot stronger and bigger but now i've got my holidays coming up I want to slim right down as I don't look that great at the moment.

Now I would just do the usual (eat less, do more cardio) but it's a fine balance, how do i maintain most of my muscle mass whilst promoting fat loss rather than muscle loss? It is tempting just to eat a lot less and do hours of cardio but I think that will just undue all the months of hard work growing my muscles? my diet is clean I eat 5-7 times a day mostly porridge, chicken breast, pasta (rarely), tuna, veg, eggs, low fat yoghurt, fruit, cottage cheese.

I know HIIT is the key but how long and what intensity? I hate doing it actually because it's soo tough but I guess no hard work no gains so I might just do it.

just start doing more cardio or drop 200kcal a day for a week. if its not enough do more / eat less. simple.

I'm starting a cut next week and plan to drop my calories by 200 each week, up my reps and introduce HIIT to my routine. I'll also start playing tennis and football a few times a week so that will help. Should my weight loss slow or stall I'll start taking ALCAR and Green Tea until I hit my target weight.
