Cutting fan wire?

Hi guys,

I bought some Yate fans.

My question: If I cut the 4pin connectors off will the fan still work?

Yes. Assuming the 3 pins are in the plug too. I.e. 12v, GND and RPM. Sometimes its just GND and RPM and the 12v is supplied by the molex. Try it. Just plug in the 4 pin. If it works, do it.
Just make sure the bare ends are insulated.
