Cutting Music!

Hi guys im sorry if this is in the wrong section but i have no idea where to post it! The problem is my old man wants a ring tone on his phone (Queen, Somebody To Love), but he wants it to kick in 1 minute in! I have edited it in Windows Movie Maker but i cant save it as a Windows media file?! And if i try opening it with Media player it says i dont have the right extensions! Can you guys tell me how i can save it as a media file (mp3) so i can stick it on his phone!

few ways to do it, easiest is prob getting a recording programe & just record where you want. personally i use super mp3 recorder professional but i use it for recording sets coz im a dj but ive used it odd few times to trim down a music file...

Some audio editing software to trim the mp3, most will be abe to do it and you can probably find some freeware that will do it.

Have a google for mptrim, its not the most simple program to use but it works and its free
