So on my CV it states when I attended uni and what certificate I achieved.
Thing is I had to drop out due to ill health and starting to think that almost 4years there and only achieving the equivelant of an HND does look bad.

Should I state I had to leave due to ill health (depression) or just leave it as it is?

There is one I am currently applying for, a paid intern, and I do feel like stating that I had to sadly leave early due to ill health but I am keen learn blahblahblah (it does state they are looking for someone with a passion to learn)

Thoughts? Or will it have greater negative connotations.

Nope, leave it as it is.

I've dropped out of Uni, twice. On my CV I've put that I went to University but the degree is not in my qualifications. All the interviews I've had the interviewer asked me about it and I've told the truth - no issues.

Conflicting so far.
I did state I am a keen learner blahblahblah, but didn't say why I dropped out.

I've also had a couple of interviews, one was at next and was asked and I told truth, the other was my "summer" job and it was a more of "welcome back chat and make sure your still suitable for the job" instead of an interview.

I'd be inclined to drop it.

Stating that you have had/prone to depression isn't something I think employers would be keen on.

Cheers.
Well wish me luck, an other CV sent off no doubt sent above what I should be due to lack of graduating grade and totally different subject....marketing when I studied design for digital media.

I didn't finish my degree for one reason or another, I've stated on my CV that I did not complete for financial reasons. I've had to explain it in one or two interviews but it's never been a problem.

Always explain, gives you something extra to talk about in the interview (I left a masters half way through and everyone has been nice about it)
