I need to rewrite my CV as I'm getting mixed feedback about the layout of the one I currently use.

I would like one which is suited to IT contracting but interested to see what people are using in general.

What style are you using and are you getting positive feedback etc?

There are many CV formats. Now it depends upon you that which kind of format you are looking? Banking industry, I,T industry, Accounting Industry, similarly if you want professional CV or any other format?

Good practice for your stalking letters you send to women who wont speak to you, right?

No, Just everyday practice. Letters to send to Friends, My nan, the doctor, Annoying celebrities and obviously job applications..

Each letter is personal, which makes it special to the person receiving it. They always scream with delight. :)

Like this, but obviously tweaked towards the job I'm applying for.

Quite a few typos there lad just make sure you get them right in the real one :)

I always take carful and methodical approaches mainly and you tend you always double up on things like careful and methodical when you can just state you are methodical.

Same with good self motivated no need for the good at all just shorten them a bit and tidy it up.Looks good though!

covering letter is just a list of cliches, and sort the spelling out - a sentence about having an eye for detail and methodical approach shouldn't have a spelling mistake in it (there's an e in careful)
the layout doesn't seem that bad tbh, it's a wee bit busy maybe

Had like 3 job advisers proof read it, so haven't really myself apart from skimming it, thanks for point it out tho :)

I've re-re-tweaked it but I'm still not happy. I think I need to condense my skills and experience although I've gone through it so many times it's just a bunch of words at the moment!

Appreciate any help/advice/giveusajob etc :)

I only really put the last 5 years of employment/3 jobs on my CV, with one line saying previous experience available on request, adding all the experience on your CV just turns it into a bunch of words that employers may not want to have to read. Thats just my personal thoughts though, those with recruitment powers in their company may see it differently.

I do agree with you on this. I didn't want to list everything but the feedback I had previously from agents etc said they wanted everything.
