CVS help?

Hey all

Looking to start using CVS at work, problem being the setup we have here.

We have a mac as a server running MAMP and other bits, is there a way to use the macs pre-installed CVS server, but using clients from windows / linux machines? Also needs to be a multi user setup

Only played with CVS breifly before, wondered if anyone had a similar setup?

cool right I think I have svn installed on osx, using an app called MAS

only thing is it only seems to work with one of the user accounts i created, plus the server GUI doesnt really show anything thats going on, or reflect any of the projects i make etc from the front end.

anyone know of any half decent mac server gui?

ugh, i am about through with this

i dont know if its because i am trying to do this on a mac server, or if its just because i am not too familiar with version control in the first place and jumping in at the deep end setting up servers etc is too much

but i can either get subversion working, or i can get the webserver etc working, i dont seem to be able to do both and its doing my head in
