CX - Worth paying for Burn In warranty?

As title says. Did you go for it or not ?

Just ordered the CX 55. Price have never been so low. It's a steal and everyone should have this Ultimate Tv , for both gaming and movies IMHO

Here in Sweden I can get a 5 year warranty that covers burn in. But man does it cost - 150 dollars or so!

I guess it's not worth it. Only for piece of mind then!

Does it cover accidental damage ?

The UK one covers burn in and the above for around the same price, so if so definitely worth it.

Depends how long you plan to keep the TV for it and what you are going to watch on it.

If you are going to play lots of games and watch public TV with water marks/bars on the screen and plan to keep the TV for more than 2 years, then YES I would get the warranty. If you don't play games much, or mainly watch movies/tv shows etc then burn in warranty is a complete waste of money.



So in summary: If you play content that can cause burn in and want to keep the TV for a long time, buy the burn in warranty. If you're content cannot cause burn in or you are not going to keep the TV for a long time, don't buy the warranty
