CX500 PSU

Hi I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to whether the Corsair CX500 PSU would be sufficient for running a machine with an ATI 6870 GPU and Intel i5 2500k CPU.

It has 34A/408w on the 12v rail.

I only have one hard disk and am not planning on madly overclocking the system.

It'll be fine. It's an entry level branded name PSU.

Depending on the price. Also, make sure the one you are looking at is the "V2" version, as it get proper 80% certified, and extra year of warranty (3 instead of 2).
