I have an IT background having been a web developer numerous years ago and also did a bit of Linux system administration. I have a HND in IT and in September I am starting a 2 year part time Business/IT degree in order to top-up the HND.
I have an interview for a Cyber Crime Investigation job. The job does not require any specific Cyber Crime qualifications as they provide all of that to the successful candidate.
My question is:
I have been told that prior to the interview there is a short written test on technical stuff. That's all I know. I believe it's probably on general computer knowledge, stuff maybe about Networks, IP addresses, Operating Systems, Computer architecture, Binary/Hex, etc...
Is there anything else you think may be worth looking at as I'm just finding I am floating around looking at random things with no specific time or attention spent. In reality it's pure guess work, but I think it's worth reading up on some stuff.
Thanks everyone,
RR
