Cyberpunk 2077 is delayed till September 17

which was slated to be out this April, isn't going to make it. CD Projekt Red dropped the news today that its big ugly-future-RPG has been rescheduled to September 17.

As I stated in the Cyberpunk thread, I'm absolutely fine with this.

I'd rather they take the time and get it mostly right for launch, far too many companies launch borderline unplayable bug-fests then take months to patch them into a half decent state.

Thanks for the news OP as I don't frequent the Cyberpunk thread. Quite indifferent about it to be honest its just one game among many and could easily flop.

It's CDPR. Some people may be disappointed, but nobody is going to complain. The Witcher 3 was delayed twice, a decision which turned out to be the right one.

I'd bet hard money that it wont.

From a financial perspective I think it's all but impossible, they've probably made their money back just from pre-orders.
