I thought this probably deserved it's own thread, so we can discuss the game and spoilers away from the main ***Cyberpunk 2077*** thread, which is here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/cyberpunk-2077.18408690/

Brief synopsis
Phantom Liberty is a new spy-thriller adventure for Cyberpunk 2077.

In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?

Game currently holds an 89% score on Metacritic

New Relic Upgrade tree:

Level cap increased to 60

A good example of that are some billboard adverts, each time the game loads it rotates what ads are shown on various billboards, some of those ads are very low res whilst others are very high - Kind of jarring up close but just walk past and continue really.

I found this shard in one of the air drops and am now paranoid if I miss this, says secluded area, is there such a place in DT?!

I've found 3 airdrops so far with high tier guns/mods and all were near the calliente restaurant

Started playing it with a controller recently as I am just using the Ketana sword. Enjoying it more than I expected. Also due to the graphics and atmosphere in places using a controller can be more Immersive.

Oh and driving is so much better with a controller it's unreal. Thought it was said they improved driving using keyboard and mouse? It's just as **** as it was on release as I recall
Most games are better on a controller.

Certainly anything with driving.

I played BG3 on mouse and keyboard but that was a rare thing for me.

Might be the modded katana issue.

Mine has been very stable.
Correction - mine is stable other than on the car delivery missions.

I did that quest until I got to the point where another quest to steal some medical machines opens up, and that all went fine.

Seemingly since then half the time I try and deliver a car, and usually when I am nearly there after a 4+ km drive the game will crash to desktop.

Anyone else had this?

I have a pistol now (from the DLC) that gives guaranteed critical hits when invisible (and is silenced)

Combine that with lots of upgrades from the cool tree increasing pistol/stealth damage, it pretty much can 1-shot all enemies as long as you can hit them in the head and do it in 7 seconds of invisibility.

So I've got every achievement now and therefore seen all the different outcomes.

The one where you Betray Reed, but then ultimately give Songbird over to him and take the 'cure' is pretty bleak really. Best outcome is just to get her on the spaceship but that means killing Idris

Do I think there is a huge difference between Cyberpunk 2077 release and 2.0 (2.01)? Not really. It's definitely better, particularly the visuals but combat, sneaking around etc haven't fundamentally changed a great deal.

Finished it tonight.

Overall it wasn't bad. It was over hyped though. Nowhere near as good as they said it was.

I enjoyed it, but nothing that special.

The main story line missions where OK and some evocative.

The side quests where mostly just filler.

Also graphics... I must have done something wrong. Everything turned to 11 at 1440p using frame generation and really didn't think it was that good a RT show case.

Seen better. (Ratchet and Clank)

Also the game has some terrible textures in places.

I'd give it a solid 7/10.

Edit*

Oh and bugs. There are definitely still bugs in the game. One of the side quests I could not do at all because the garage door doesn't open.

Agree with nearly all this to be honest.
