I think they'll be another update when Xbox gets FSR4 - hopefully AMD can get RR in then too and MFG. I don't mind if it's a foot note, and that Nvidia get their big moment - as long as it gets in...

And on a side note, if i was AMD, i'd totally be reverse engineering Nvidia RR 4.5 (and MFG) - given they've been cracked to work on AMD already - maybe making a lite version so they run better.

Weirdly I am not noticing any VRR flicker in this game now, previously I had gsync off due to flicker, so whatever new changes have been made to the engine since I last played, this has helped it seems. Maybe it's time to keep gsync on and only disable it per-game where needed in NVApp...

I suppose it's due to the game now having excellent frame pacing and frametime latency.

CDPR certainly worked some magic with the latest update.

The game now runs significantly faster for me, so much that I now have no need to run any FG mods, FGx2 is fine.

Everything maxed out at 3440x1440, 100 FPS, full PT, psycho settings, etc, and my 4090 not even reaching 1400Mhz.

Happy days.

Oh, forgot to mention there's a new transformer model, no.2.

I finally bought the DLC this week. I loaded it up and saw my last save was from 2023 so I decided to start a fresh run.

Enjoying this a lot. I’ve forgotten most of the main stuff so that feels fresh as well.

I’m possibly half way through the DLC main quest and I have some suspicions on where the plot is going but enjoying it anyway.

Vanilla gameplay wise imo for first run. Can always install 4k texture packs and lighting mods if that’s your thing (and system can handle it) but a lot are broken due to the update.
Texture packs are safe.

edit: Thankfully the main dependencies have been updated this morning, Novacity and ReLUX etc back on.
