Will this be possible, been trying to get a current gen GPU but no luck and not looking like I'll be able to grab one this year.

Could a GTX 1070 handle this game at 1440P / Medium? Or should I buy it on our Xbox Series S?

I'm in the same boat, on a 1070 but wanting to upgrade. Have tried to grab a 3080, 3070, 6800 and 6800XT all with no luck.

Fortunately however, I have only just started playing Witcher 3 meaning I'm in no rush to purchase CP2077, and will hold out until I have a better card for it.

Sat on 980 here and even though I've been camping a lot of retailers sites including OCUK, no joy to get a new GPU yet :( I may delay buying Cyberpunk to experience it at better quality when get a new GPU :/

If you follow PartAlert on twitter 3070s are pretty 3asy to get, Ive managed to order 3 (but cancelled them all as I got one off the MM in the end).

I would hold fire on determining performance until the day 0 patch and graphics drivers have been released. Gamers Nexus is saying there is DRM baked into the review copies which gimps performance a touch and the DRM will not be in the public release.

I'm hitting myself for waiting so long before I purchased it. I dabbled with an idea to buy something new for the last 12-18 months, but finally felt like I have no other option and then this whole calamity started :D

I kind of feel that the ratio of performance vs graphics quality is changing at a rate that performance requirements are going up very quickly whilst the graphics quality isn't, so you're needing much more performance for only a small improvement in graphics quality.

I have every confidence my 1070 will be able to max out Cyberpunk at 3440x1440 100 fps on ultra with full ray tracing, no problem.
