hi. what Operating system, how have you tried?

I have this keyboard running on win 7 and I plugged it in and it just worked...
I then went to the cyborg website and downloaded the software.

Are you trying to run it on a mac that is dual booting windows?

The grief is that i cant use any keys on the keyboard so i need to reinstall drivers. windows home 64bit

My setup is as follows
2500k
p67a ud5 b3
corsair 8gb
radeon 6990 x 2
3x iiyama monitors
R.A.T 9 mouse

Strange. I also have this keyboard and it was just plug and play.
Have you tried different USB ports, it could be possible the drivers for that particular USB port are not installed/supported.

How long have you had the keyboard?

Had the keyboard about 3 weeks now, its been like it since day 1, ive tried different usb ports but its the same.

All keyboards are plug and play and don't require drivers to work.
It need drivers for the programmable keys ;)
