Hi there,
My mate has a lappy with a corrupt version of windows, so I thought ahh thats fine I can reformat for you and backup data in the process...
Trouble is when trying to copy a lot of his folders I receive the following error msg:-
"cannot copy cycle redundancy check"
does this mean his hdd is dying / dead? and the only way to recover those files is by using Recuva? and then buying a new HDD?
Please help
Cheers...
