I'm around 10.5st and 6' tall, have been for years, I'm 22 years old and cycling a lot... when I first got into road cycling 8 months or so ago I dropped down to around 10st but started taking MyProteins weight gainer and got back up to 10.5st.
I've just ordered a load of Elite gainer from them as it was cheap and I'm taking creatine + Alpha man multi vitamins because I'm lazy and do'nt eat all the good foods I need.
When I'm at work I'll generally have a shake in the morning @7am 400cal
6 crumpets @9am 800cal (w/butter+marmite :))
a cooked dinner @12:30 generally pie and veg or some other general canteen dribble

25-40mile ride @4pm
1 banana soreen after the ride with another shake and then tea around 7pm

Ultimately I'm training for a JoGLE ride next summer in 7 days ~130 miles/day and I'd like to maybe get up to around 11 st but with very little body fat...

What's likely to happen with an ectomorph eating 4500cal/day and exercising a lot?! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ectomorphic

Anybody got any similar stories?

Good to see a different type of log.

Somatotyping is complete BS, despite the fact that I've heard of it being taught up to A Level sports science (or whatever...).

If you're cycling long distances regularly then you'll find it hard to put on muscle, regardless of higher calorie intake.

You don't mention doing any gym work...

I'm not doing any gym work, I'm considering taking up rock climbing again as an all round work out but ultimately I'm just cycling.
I keep saying I'll have a good bash at swimming as I'd love to start entering the odd triathlon...
