Cycling through error codes, stopping at c1 and reboots.

Hi guys,

I’m desperate for some tips.
Background:

Got a system:
Mobo gigabyte z390 ud
i9-9900k
2080ti
2 x 16GB Corsair vengeance rbg
M.2
850w aorus gold psu. And everything was working fine.

Decided to get a better mobo for over clocking with WiFi and Bluetooth. Got a used aorus z390 master from eBay. Rebuilt everything but when trying to boot it cycles through multiple error codes a couple of time and then stops at c1 and reboots, doing it all over again.

I’ve reseated ram sticks multiple times together and on their own, testing each stick, even tried a ram stick from another pc. I also disconnected every usb device leaving only the power plug.
Furthermore, I’ve reseated the gpu in another slot.
And finally I have also reseated the cpu, although I have to note that there were 3 pins which were slightly bent. Using a needle I tried to straighten them and looked ok to the naked eye.

Is there anything else anyone can suggest I could try before sending the mobo back?

According to the manual, c1 is ‘reserved’ but on other forums people say it’s probably a ram issue, and when mobo shows the c1 error, the DRAM led light is on.

After further fiddling with it, I managed to get it to boot, however only with 1 ram stick, each of them works separately in any slot, but as soon as I put both of them in, it shows the c1 error again

I have an old Gigabyte Z270 Gaming 7, MB and it's still reads C0 error code 'reserved' over 4 ago soo I wouldn't worry about as long it works who cares!

It wasn’t working. It didn’t want to post with two ram sticks. Basically it were the 3 bent cpu pins. After 2 times of bending the back, I managed to get it working. All good now

OK:D So you took the risk of bending back the CPU pins why didn't you get a CPU replacement,
At lease it's working now so is it A0/C0;)

It’s intel, bent pins were on the mobo. And the mobo is three years old and sold as used on eBay, there’s no replacements
