Cyclists - how far do you commute to work?

I recently started after moving to a job 5 miles away. Tested it on a crappy borrowed bike first. Since buying something decent it is a pleasure. Though the legs and bum are still a bit tender first thing.

I take you've tried different saddles? I have to use one with a groove otherwise I get extreme numbness where you don't want numbness. For ,me the specialized body geometry saddles work well, 143mm wide.

I've tried a few. I agree on the groove!

Yes it's a pretty special place - We've been here a year now and only had Ferg twice. Poor show!:o
