Hi Guys,

I just saw one of these in one of the stores on Tottenham Court Road. Basically its a docking station onto which you can stick a HDD containing video files, which then connects to your TV via HDMI. You can then browse the files/folders and play your videos.

I am particularly interested in this as I have a number of Nat Geo Wild shows in Hi Def stored on a hard drive in mkv format. It would be awesome to be able to watch them on my HD TV instead of having to sit at my computer.

Just a query really, does anyone have one of these? Any good?

Any feedback would be great :)

the one your looking at Im not convinced can play MKVs otherwise it does pretty much do what it says.

There are loads of these that take internal disk etc and do exactley what you want to do.

As an example look at the cyclone MKV V2 70 ish pounds plays just about anything.

I've got the one Domi mentioned and it's a brilliant piece of kit. Plays everything i throw at it. Do a google search for Sumvision Cyclone MKV v2. Plenty of places sell it.
