Anyone used one of these before?

It's around £30 and apparently plays quite a lot of media files.

Seems like there's a quite a few people on avforums who have also used it so looks promising.

few friends have these, aslong as you don't require network streaming then not a problem :)

Sounds good, just planning to get an external usb powered portable HDD and load it up with stuff to watch. Should be getting it some time next week :D

They work very well, I have had one for a few months now,

I have it plugged into a 40" Lcd in the bedroom and use it with a portable HD, so far it has played everything i have thrown at it including 1080p MKV files,

I highly recommend one m8.

It's ok but the Ac ryan playon hd min's 1&2 are far better, they play more files and are much better build quality and actually look a nice bit of kit, also the remote is usable. I had a cyclone 2 and found a few things it wouldn't play, so far not found anythin my playon hd2 mini wont play.

Well a quick update, I got the Cyclone Micro 2+ and it works fine with a few divx videos I've tried so far.

Got it plugged into a TV via composite cable and have a 1TB portable HDD that's powered through USB.

Not bad for £30.

Not had any issues with mine so far, played everything ive thrown at it, menus are basic tho, and the remote it awful.

Im starting to use XBMC tho with my laptop and android tab as a remote.
