Apparently there is some sort of cruise ship leaving Portsmouth next week for Cyprus so you could cadge a lift on that and save on airfare.

We're booked to go to Dubai at the end of the month. Not cancelling anything as of yet.
Fortunately we can get a full refund on the flights and free cancellation of our accommodation. We'll leave it until around 48hrs before we're due to fly out to make the final decision.

Will soon be safer in Dubai - than USA, Israel .... any action by Iranian actors abroad won't be against govt/civilian populations in friendly arabic states..
I'd be more worried going to the World Cup.
(still can't see anything attractive about living in the likes of Dubai for these many UK expats who rave on social media - trying to convince themselves.)
