Hi again :)

Is it possible on Pentium D 805, to up the FSB from 533 to 800
by making a pin-mod ????? (I vaguely seems to remember this)

The idea should be that the clock would follow up, and then it
is possible to clocking from this new and higher basic-point, on
cheap board like some asrock that only can clock 15 pct this
should be a work-around,... (but maybe I confused something)

(I should use it on a Asrock Conroe865PE until I get a quad)

Not sure about FSB mod, think there was vcore mod on the CPU to allow for higher fsb freqencies.
Maybe wrong though. Someone may correct me.

Think it's possible. But you have to bear in mind that this chip has a very high multi so even if you do manage to mod it to FSB800 the CPU speed will start from a mahoosive 4Ghz (200 x 20), which is quite impossible without massive volt, excellent cooling (ideally water-cooled) and a strong PSU.

Hi ,.. thanks ,... maybe it´s just the volt-mod ,.. that all I been able to google also
