D&D online

Personally in every MMO I have played since 1997, I have played them in 3rd person. I am heavily into PvP in MMOs, and its damn helpful to be able to see around me in pvp (especially for sneak attacks). I am quite the opposite, I would definately NOT play an MMO unless it had 3rd person

I actually liked DDO. I played it for the first few months it came out.
I never had any problems with the controls. Game could have been better (they had a severe lack of content upon release) but I think most of the fun came from the smaller more intimate groups.

Anarchy online was deffinately NOT 1st person. You could zoom the camera down to a 1st person style view but you couldnt really play like that. It was designed to be 3rd person with a nice zoomable camera just like WoW and EQ and such.

I think you may be playing them in first person but since the games are made for third that's why you think the games suck? It's the only thing I can think of what you're doing.
