D-Link 615 DD-WRT QoS

i have been having a play around with the QoS on my dlink and seem to think it isn't working properly.

I set my upL/dL to 1000/6000 yet when downloading from usenext it was running under 1mbps. so i switched the values round and still had the same result.

Does anyone have any suggestions for Q0S and the best way to set this up?

reason i'm wanting it is if the Wife/Kids are on there PC and i'm on my PS3 i want the bandwidth and not them

I was under the impression that usenext (news feed service) was a low priority traffic according to QoS rules would that explain it?

I would still expect you to get more than 1mb when you have quiet time on the line?

Unsure tbh. Once I turn Qos off my speeds got back upto 6.3 Mbps.
