hi wonder if there is anyone on here who uses one of these provided by virgin media...i keep getting kick of cod4 because punkbuster..ive tried all kinds of port forwarding to no avail...i put my old netgear back in and everything is ok it works fine...but that has other problems..so wondering if anyone has came across this. thanks
 
Install DD-WRT firmware on it, and rid yourself of the pathetic mess that is the standard firmware, which seems to just ignore anything you tell it to do.
 
I have the same router and no problems with Punkbuster.

Are you using Ray Adams ATI Tray Tools? Punkbuster doesn't like that.
 
no see it was working ok until i used this router ...now not even my old router will work with punkbuster....cant work it out...see punkbuster b will not start wondering if its a registry error/problem now
 
Uninstall PB and do a clean install of it from the latest executable. Your router wouldn't stop the service starting.
 
ive done all the required unsitalls and installs ive even done the unistall of the game and install again as well as punkbuster abd the updates....thinking its my win 7 now causing it.
