D-Link DIR-615 Router ?

Is this router any good ?

I was looking at netgear and linksys routers but seen awful reviews for these but good reviews for the d-link.

I'm looking to replace an old linksys wired router

Simple answer, no.

I got one free with my 50Mb virgin connection. It lasted a whole two days before I binned it. DD-WRT went some way to helping it stay, but it was still garbage.

It seems that according to a certain competitors reviews section that each make and brand of router has it's own quirks and problems :/

Perhaps I'll stick to the linksys brand. I haven't had much problem with my wired one apart from the odd reset.

Agree its crap, if your transfering files of other computers and then downloading something someone on skype or something it just can't handle it and lose connection the the virgin box. It rage worthy but were to lazy to get a new one.
