D-Link DIR-655 Keeps Changing To Local Access Only

Had this router for a few weeks now and for some reason every now and then it changes to local only blocking access to the internet and i have to reset the router and set it up again to get back online.

Anyone know how to set it back to local and internet without the need to reset the router and re-configure it?

Do a full factory reset perhaps. Tells you how in the manual or online.

Does the router still have an external IP address when the internet goes down?
Try disabling DNS relay at http://192.168.0.1/Basic/Network.shtml
It might not be the router that's at fault.
