I got a D-link DSM 330 yesterday and was up till 1am this morning playing with it.
Im at a bit of a loss with the Network connection settings.
My PC is a wired connection to the router and the DSM 330 is wireless. I checked the
IP address and confirmed that its all on the same network but it cannot find the server.
I installed a wireless USB stick on the PC and restarted the server. The DSM 330 found
it straight away and worked perfectly.
Now the confusing thing is, When I connect to the server I can then remove the wireless
USB stick and the dsm 330 stays connected but uses the wired connection.
it seems to automatically switch itself to the wired connection without any prompting.
I want to be able to connect to the wired connection straight away and not have to
put the USB stick in.
I set static IP addresses for both the box and the PC with the server running on it.
Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?
