I have recently switched over to a D-Link Gaming Router, but since the switch I am getting download problems.

Quiet often if I want to download something, stream videos etc it will start fine and then hang part way through. This problem isnt limited to my PC either, it's on all three PC's in the house and the same even happens when trying to download updates on my PSP via wireless.

I am not sure if there may be a setting on the router which may be causing this, hence the post here.

If anyone can help I will be eternally grateful and forever your humble servant!

P.S. Other than this problem (which I am not even sure is router related) the router itself is marvelous, I can be downloading torrents and EA downloader at the same time and 2 of us can also play BF2142 at the same time with no obvious lag :)

Hi

I run that router on my blueyonder connection and have no issues with watch video's online such a google videos and Youtube.

Are you on cable or ADSL ?

Before you changed to the router were you able to watch videos from the same site OK ?

When the problem happens have you checked to see that the connection on the wireless has not dropped ?

Have you updated the firmware to the latest version ?

What sites are you have the issue on and what browser you using ?

Im with cable (DSL).

I used to be able to watch video and download fine with my Belkin Pre-N but it was gaming that was the issue which is why i switched.

Connection doesn't drop when problem occurs.

Havent updated firmware yet - I will give that a try next.

I have issues with all sites and have used Internet Explorer 6 & 7 as well as Firefox 1.6 & 2 - I know it's not browser specific as I get the same problem on any of the 3 PC's in the house as well as my PSP.!!!
