D-linkg g604t dropping connection

Hiya

I'm using a D-Link G604T router and up until a couple of days ago it was fine, but since the router was restarted it's now constantly dropping my net connection.

I've got it connected by standard ethernet, and it'll be up and running fine, by the setting given on the D-link site, but randomly the internet will just stop working. I can still connect to the router, but the net just doesn't work. A hard reboot solves this on most occasions but then it's back to random dropping of connection.

Anyone shed any light on this?
 
Is that a cable or ADSL router? What are you doing when it cuts out? torrents?

So you can still ping the router when the net cuts out? could be your modem and not your router, have you tried pinging the modem when the net cuts out?
