Hello all,

I have recently built a new PC and having a nightmare with the RGB side of the fans. Firstly, I can get them working in terms of power to the fans and have them spinning but without any RGB. I have x3 3 pin RGB ports on my motherboard (Asus Tuf X870 Plus) only one of them seems to actually work though. So I can have one side of my case working with RGB, however everything else will spin but no RGB.

The fans I have are the Phanteks M25G2 140mm and they're D-RGB fans. Would it work if I was to buy an ARGB PWM controller and plug that into the RGB port that works, and then run each fan too the controller and plug the PWM/D-RGB plugs into this?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, just wasn't sure if D-RGB and ARGB are compatible. They both seem to be the same pin configuration (3 pin in total, 2 then space then 1) Thank you in advance.

D-RGB and ARGB
D-RGB is just what Phanteks call ARGB to make it sound better. but yes and ARGB controller will work... BUT the Phanteks on is very good for the RGB and just run the fan speed from the motherboard with splitter if needed

that lets you like it to the motherboard or use a manual button to control the RGB's

Thank you, I've managed to get them working now. I must've wired them up incorrectly or something as I removed them all, refit them and they seem to work now!
