I have a B450 Mortar Max and a Phanteks P400 Case. The B450 has JRGB headers and the case has DRGB connectors. I've spent the last 20 mins searching for a solution to somehow connect the 2 but I haven't found anything conclulsive.

Has anyone found a solution to connecting them?

I don't think there is one.
JRGB is just basic 4-pin RGB, which supplies 12v.
DRGB (or ARGB) is 3-pin, but only runs on 5v... and putting 12v through ARGB will usually damage something.

It might be possible to DIY a voltage dropper, but any connected ARGB components would then just be standard RGB, as the board still won't output the fancy ARGB control signals through that header.

Saying that, I thought Phanteks used their own proprietary connectors for their cases anyway? Mine certainly does.
If I understand your manual correctly, the connector you're talking about is an extra one for plugging in Phanteks' own LED strips, not for a motherboard header. The case LEDs are all controlled from a single button, located somewhere under the top panel, and this is just a way to add extra lighting in.

Thanks for that, you are absolutely right it would seem. I wasn't expecting the LEDs to light up since it looked like it required a 3 pin header, maybe this is just for the control.
I need to find a solution, just not sure where it'll come from...yet.

Phanteks probably have an ARGB controller that will run the lights, and there are several other brands that will do likewise... But there is no kit I'm aware of that will run 5v RGB directly off a 12v RGB header.

Razer controller is also a uniserval 5v argb controller that works with everything

putting 12v through 5v rgb will almost always blow the LED's

I'm not looking to put 12v through the 5vs and assumed a converter would be required, just wasn't sure what I was looking for specifically. OcUK have a THIS which I've picked up as it just needs power, not too bothered about the motherboard being the controller, just want lights to keep the mrs happy. It may or may not work but looks pretty close to what I'm after.

Should be OK to link as AFAIK OCUK don’t sell them, but I used this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5V-3Pin-...-/264844151819?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 on a B450 tomahawk Max that didn’t have the right RGB connector for the case lighting for a friends Son’s build. Worked like a charm and not too expensive either.

oohh...that might actually be perfect! I have until Saturday to finish this build so I'll see how the above goes first.
