Im looking for opinions really on wether this block would be enough to cool a clocked Q6600. It will be my first WC setup and I want to keep the chip low enough to get a decent overclock out of it, although the main reason Im going WC is to quiet my PC down really. So far all I have for the loop is a pump and res, pump being a PolarFlo TT (A Laing D4 with a different top) and res is some dual bay thing I picked up cheap.

Any thoughts welcome on this

Just had a look at that Feser deal and unfortunately it runs out before my pay comes in, I overspent on Xmas so now Im skint till Friday lol. Also, Im thinking for now the loop will just be CPU, but Ill be adding northbridge soon I think, and in the long run maybe GFX if it will get me better temps than the stock cooler. Considering making the block for the northbridge with my dad actually for a laugh.

Luckily it came with 1/2 inch barbs so thats ok, thanks for the heads up though :) As for the northbridge block we were planning on making it the old fashioned way, ie soldering it together. Sort of like a little copper box with jutting fins soldered to the base to restrict the flow a bit. With the radiator, I suppose I will just have to keep an eye out for deals in MM like you say.
