Hi,

I have googled about but can't seem to find any info on what i'm looking for. Anyone know if anywhere makes an adaptor for socket 1155 for the D-Tek v2 water block?? I found an adaptor plate for the socket 1366 so just need the same thing but for the sandybridge then I can do my upgrade:D

Cheers

Right I see. So let me get this right... all I need is the (D-Tek FuZion Intel i7 LGA 1366 Pro-Mount Kit) it will also fit the 1156 which in turn is the same as a 1156 anyway is that correct?.
everywhere seems to be out of stock of them. Bummer!!

The Asrock P67 Extreme 6 Intel P67 motherboard can fit socket 775 waterblocks

C.C.O. (Combo Cooler Option)

C.C.O., stands for Combo Cooler Option, is another exclusive hardware design on ASRock boards. C.C.O. provides the flexible options to adopt different CPU cooler types and matches your socket LGA775, LGA1155 / LGA1156 CPU cooler in the respective holes. Once again, ASRock has successfully expanded the utilization of PCB by the exclusive C.C.O. design.

I have no idea if the kit will fit a 1156 socket. The 1366 is a different socket.

May I suggest you look at the Swiftech XP as a alternative. It is in my humble view simply the best water block on the market today.

I'm using the d-tek fuzion v2 just with 4 bolts + springs from another block and the 775 fittings. Works fine as you don't need a backplate that way. Doesn't look as neat as a proper mounting kit but I couldn't find one for 1156.

ok cheers for the responses,

Looks like I might have to buy a different water block then, shame they don't do a pro mount kit for it. I really didn't want to have to buy a new block as I am sure the d-teck while not being the best block on the market these days would have still cooled it just fine.
