Im looking at upgrading to the D3300 from a D40x

Just wondering, does it have to be the VR camera if im wanting a 70-300? They seem to be an extra £20 for the camera which is fine, im just wondering if it is necessary or not

Any help and advice would be appreciated

Cheers

Not sure what you mean by vr camera, vr refers to vibration reduction which is built into the lens not the camera. The 70-300 will work fine with the d3300.

I started looking at a D3300 but went D5300 in the end, some bargains to be had out there. Got my 5300 for £375 with 18-55.

I also went for a Nikon 70-300 VR.

Handheld.
