Looking forward to a future build and picking some bits up along the way, what can the D5 handle?????

system will have the following,

2x 480 + 1x 360 monsta's
cpu block
2x gpu block
RIVE block
aquaero block
1x Tall res.

Am i gonna need 2 D5's, thinking about a dual loop would be better and could be made to look neater, but if not will just the 1 D5 manage????

I think one D5 will just about cope, but it looks a similar layout to my loop in which a single D5 is struggling...

so do you think a dual loop is the way to go?? i think it would look neater, bottom 480 for gfx and 480/360 for the rest of the blocks.

and on a res such as a 400mm bitspower does it have inlet ports near the top or are they just fill ports???

heres a pic to help visualize what i'm going to be doing, the 360 in the front will be a monsta.
the plan so far is, black case, white rads, blood red fittings, white tubing, clear res with red fluid, GT's with blades sprayed red.

Put 2 x D5s in serial or 2 x MCP35x(swiftech already has a top for this - with out voiding the warranty - if you look around)

With multiple RADs and blocks 2 x MCP35x'c would go better I think(more head pressure), also they are PWM.

Think the top port of the bitspower is for filling.

Are you doing as the above? 480 top and bottom with 360 in the front? If so you're going to want some grills/covers for the bottom rad so you actually have somewhere to mount a pump ;)

Either that or have the pumps mounted to the remainder of the motherboard tray area.

As above, D5's aren't brilliant for head pressure, though if like me you already own one D5 then it makes sense to add another.

What WOULD look sweet in that case would be 3 x DDC's on an XSPC Tri-Top (plexi) all lit up and bolted to the tray :D

Already got 1 AC D5 with aquabus, everything will be controlled by my aquaero.
when they are in serial, is that working together???

Think i have seen the swiftech you are talking about over on an american site, looks good ;)

yeah pretty much the same in pic, would have top/bottom exhausting and front intake.
Was hoping that along side the res to get a bracket made up too either hold twin tops or a dual.
any links/pics to the xspc???
Really am liking my aquaero, its the only thing in my pc i never have too touch, so i do want too incorperate everything into that.

they do look the biz those tops ;)
Trouble is with the aquabus AC D5's i'm limited because of the connections on the back, i have already had to butcher the plate what holds the pump in place on my koolance top.
Not sure how other tops work as i have only experience with the one i have.

I'm thinking as you look between res and mobo, plexi tops facing with pumps behind to hide all the wires.

Hoping to get everything researched and sourced by june as this is when i shall place an order for the case. Only having single gpu until next gen arrives then going multiple cards

That is insane ;o What are you cooling in that thing?

nuclear reactor :) ?

on serious note, I read somewhere that D5's weren't top of the charts in head pressure, so a single pump might not have the legs to push the coolant around at an acceptable l/min rate ? myabe 2 in series would struggle alos if there is a lot of restriciton in the loop ?
