D5100 or EOS 600D

Hey all,

This may have been asked before but the search didn't turn up too much.

With the current cashback promotions running by both canon and nikon the D5100 and 600D both look pretty attractive price wise!

The D5100 with kit lense lands up being £350 after cashback, and the 600D ends up being £415.

Which of these two cameras would you go for, and why?

Appears to be a bit of a minefield from my current research!

The only thing swaying me towards the 600d is the 60 fps at 720p - may be useful for the odd bit of video I take!

The Nikon is certainly cheaper, but by the time you add the 35mm lense capable of auto focus should you desire it, there isn't a lot in it!
