D5100 transfer to iPad

Is there a way of transferring images from the d5100 via a cable straight to the iPad without having to use the pc?

Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit is what I use, works great

Just ordered that now cheers. I didn't even think to look on apple store, in this kit do you get a USB version and a sd card reader version?

I have the older CF only version and that works well.

You've ordered it without knowing what it does / what it supports?

It shows a pic of the pair,

Either way it will transfer pics from the camera to the iPad,
