D90 bundle or 50D bundle

Actually, this question wasn't entirely fair. The difference between the the D90 and 50D is about £100 - 150, but I am also considering the lens bundles. I want a flexible, good enough for the majority of the time lens.
 
...Well I went the D90 route albeit without a 'kit' lens. Went for the Nikon 18-200 as the only lens for the time being :)
 
the dpreview site suggests the 50D was not as capable as the D90 in low light (high ISO) and overall picture quality not significantly better than the 40D. The fact that the camera does not produce great images in low light was enough for me to overlook it, especially as it costs more than the D90 with a 50mm f1.8 on top of the kit lens.

...I like it. I guess people will say it does the job of a few lenses but isn't outstanding at any particular ones. I wanted a good quality lens to start with as I didn't intend on changing around that often...if much at all. I know the bug will bite and more lenses will need to be purchased :D but for now as a 'one lens' camera I think its great.

Please don't forget though this is my first camera and lens combo so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Went for this lens as the kit ones were not that well received and although this is pretty expensive it has had some good reviews :)
