Wasn't sure where to post this, as it's more of a hardware query.
The signal seems to be fairly poor in my area for digital radio, but using the TV aerial + booster the freeview box can pick it up fine.
Was wondering if there's anyway I can connect my radio up to a co-axial cable? It has a 'type F connector' apparently, looks like a much smaller female coaxial one. Is there any convertors I can buy or make my own.

Thanks in advance

You can buy F-type connectors. They just screw onto the bear end of coax, really easy.

Freeview 'radio' isn't DAB, it's the wrong frequency for DAB, the aerial won't be the right one.

I know, but you can use the standard house aerial to function as one can't you? I've done so with my stereo for FM radio, presuming you can do the same for DAB

Yes, but you generally need a VHF aerial for FM/DAB/radio broadcasts and a UHF aerial for TV/freeview. If you can pick up FM signals using your TV aerial, it's more good luck/using the length of cable than anything else. If you have a booster, it'd probably cut out VHF signal anyway.

You can get an indoor areial made by 'one for all' which is VHF and UHF ready. It can be used to pick up freeview and DAB radio with a built in booster.

You know, really digital 'doesnt' exist, as the way the signal is transferred is still by means of analogue technology, but meh!
